The Petitioner, an international financial services company, seeks to temporarily employ the Beneficiary 
as "Director-COO Macro Trading" under the L-lA nonimmigrant classification for intracompany 
transferees . See Immigration and Nationality Act section 101(a)(15)(L), 8 U.S .C. § 1101(a)(15)(L) . 
The Director of the Texas Service Center denied the petition, concluding the Petitioner did not establish 
that the Beneficiary was employed in a managerial or executive capacity abroad. In addition, the Director 
detennined the Petitioner did not demonstrate that the Beneficiary would be employed in a managerial or 
executive capacity in the United States. The matter is now before us on appeal. 
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services records indicate that, subsequent to the filing of the instant 
appeal, the Beneficiary was approved for a L-lA nonimmigrant visa valid through the period requested 
in the current petition. Because another L-lA nonirnmigrant visa was granted specific to this Petitioner 
and Beneficiary after the current appeal, further pursuit of the matter is moot. 
ORDER: The appeal is dismissed.
